Dunfermline Language Tuition is for English and French language learners. People of all ages, abilities and nationalities are welcome. Emma specialises in giving 1:1 private tutoring or working with small groups. She teaches children and adults, from beginner to intermediate and advanced levels. Emma uses an interactive and engaging teaching style to suit each learner's needs.
English As a Second Language
Emma works with adults and business professionals wanting to brush up on their grammar and pronunciation. She also teaches foreign nationals, refugees and asylum seekers who want to integrate in the UK. She can help you prepare for English exams such as the IELTS, CAE, CPE, PET, KET and TOEFL.
French as a Second Language
Emma also tutors children and adults wanting to learn French. She teaches for exams such as Nationals, Highers, GCSEs and A levels. She teaches those wanting to travel, move abroad or study for interest. She is up to date on all UK qualifications and certifications for teaching children.
Reading Support & Special Needs
Emma has experience working with children and young people of all ages. She especially enjoys working with those who are differently-abled. She has worked with people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, and epilepsy. She has trained to use Makaton to support those with hearing impairment. She is CRB & PVG verified, with Qualified Teacher Status.
Pricing & Availability
Emma had previously done all her lessons in person, but with the rise in use of remote technology, she has been meeting many of her students online, using videoconferencing tools such as Skype, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Her language tuition is now no longer tied to those in Dunfermline. Anyone can book and get lessons remotely.
